Federal Reserve Financial Services Solutions Architect

As a Senior Solution Architect at Federal Reserve Financial Services, you will be part of a dynamic team responsible for designing and engineering complex technology solutions across multiple payment systems. Your expertise will be instrumental in researching, analyzing, and proposing requirements-based products and solutions that align with the business and technology needs of the enterprise.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide architectural leadership and technology design expertise to develop, integrate, launch, scale, and maintain new and existing solutions.
- Partner with leadership to define and communicate long-term technology strategy and planning.
- Contribute to the design, development, and implementation of short- and long-term technical solutions through new and existing applications.
- Consult on complex tasks or projects that require in-depth knowledge across multiple specialized architecture domains.
- Provide technical solution architecture development, specifically regarding integration impact to other areas of the architecture.
- Participate as a technical expert to ensure the success of enterprise-wide application rollouts.
- Work closely with management and project leads to assist in planning development projects and ensuring that evolution of technical environment is consistent with project goals and schedules.
- Communicate effectively in written documents and oral presentations, explaining concepts clearly to audiences at various levels of technical knowledge.
- Participate in the design of key solutions, ensuring they are coordinated with other internal or external enterprise business, information, and technology architecture.
- Provide technical, strategic direction, and architecture improvements to improve customer satisfaction, speed of development, cost of development, implementation, and ease of maintenance.
- Assist with the strategic direction for application development approaches, including tools, process, and frameworks.
- Support architectural initiatives that improve efficiency aligned with business strategy.
- Work with other architects and technical staff to ensure optimal integration across platforms.
- 7+ years of experience as a Solution Architect or Senior Solution Architect in architecting, designing, and engineering highly complex technology solutions across multiple diverse platforms.
- Experience in multiple, large, cross-functional teams or projects, and influencing senior-level management and key stakeholders.
- Experience with Java EE architecture and design using tools for areas such as web applications, web services, object persistence, messaging, and event-driven architectures.
- Experience with database design and data integration using multiple DBMS tools, including integration with data migration, query, and report generation tools.
- Experience with information architectures knowledge and experience in the areas of data governance and business intelligence in a complex database environment with multiple DBMS and related BI technologies.
- Experience with information security controls, including certification.
