BE A VALUABLE MEMBER OF OUR GOURMET TO GO TEAM

Nino Salvaggio is seeking a Gourmet-To-Go (Prepared Foods) Associate for our Clinton Township location.


KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Accurately package, price, and label all prepared food items in accordance with company standards.
  • Assist customers with inquiries and orders both in-person and over the phone, ensuring all requests are fulfilled efficiently.
  • Welcome all customers, providing prompt, courteous, and exceptional service.
  • Adhere to all company policies, procedures, and standards of conduct as outlined in the employee handbook.
  • Maintain a clean and professional appearance at all times, following company grooming and dress codes.
  • Perform stocking duties and other tasks as directed by management based on sales volume.
  • Stay informed about the quality standards, pricing, varieties, and preparation methods of the products available in the department.
  • Utilize necessary tools such as knives and slicers in compliance with age requirements.
  • Manage damaged or spoiled products according to company guidelines and assist in minimizing waste.
  • Follow safety and sanitation protocols as outlined in the employee handbook and other resources.
  • Report any safety or equipment concerns to management immediately.
  • Properly handle, stock, prepare, and display all required products.
  • Count, separate, and weigh various products as needed.
  • Assist in training new associates when required.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Prior customer service experience is essential.
  • A high school diploma or G.E.D. is preferred but not mandatory.
  • Reliable transportation is necessary.
  • Availability to work some weekends is required.
  • Ability to stand and/or walk for extended periods of 8 hours or more.
