Salary and Benefits

Job Summary

The Assistant Executive Director will assist the Executive Director in managing all aspects of the facility, including planning, organizing, delegating, staffing, marketing, budgeting, and overseeing clinical and medical care that meets agency, state, and federal standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist the Executive Director in developing, implementing, and enforcing policies and procedures to ensure compliance with agency, state, federal, and accreditation standards.
  • Plan and administer managerial, operational, fiscal, and reporting components of the organization.
  • Participate in the Performance Improvement Plan for client care, teammate retention, and performance.
  • Ensure that all teammates are assigned duties based on education, experience, and competency, and review and sign-off their job descriptions within 15 days of hire.
  • Assist the Executive Director in establishing and maintaining community relationships, including memorandums of agreement with community resources.
  • Supervise, train, and orient teammates as directed by the Executive Director.
  • Maintain a system for reviewing personnel files according to Talent/Human Resources guidelines.
  • Ensure the safety and well-being of teammates and patients through the development and implementation of policies and procedures addressing health and safety accreditation standards.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited educational institution in an appropriate behavioral science, mental health discipline, or recognized helping profession.
  • Three years of experience in the field of alcohol and drug addiction, including group and individual counseling, treatment planning, and case management.
  • Three years of experience in supervising and/or managing clinical services of an alcohol and drug addiction program and support staff.
  • Licensure and/or certification with the state and/or LCADC as a drug and alcohol counselor.
  • Valid driver's license in good standing in the state of employment and insurability by the designated carrier.
