Ultrasound Technologist Job Description

Ansible Government Solutions, LLC is seeking a skilled Ultrasound Technologist to support the Long Beach VA Health Care System. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for performing a variety of complex sonographic examinations, including abdominal, chest, and vascular studies.

Responsibilities:
  • Operate ultrasound equipment to perform routine and specialized examinations
  • Review requisitions to ensure patient history and anatomical area of interest are consistent with the exam(s) requested
  • Conduct neck, carotid artery, leg vein, and artery examinations
  • Assist Radiologists during invasive procedures and perform gynecological ultrasound exams
  • Perform quantitative Doppler measurements to determine blood flow profiles when indicated
Qualifications:
  • Current and valid ARDMS license
  • Minimum of two years of experience in diagnostic medical sonography
  • Current certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) as certified by the American Heart Association

Pay Range: $55.00 hourly

Requirements:

  • Sit, stand, walk, lift, squat, bend, twist, and reach above shoulders during the work shift
  • Lift up to 50 lbs from floor to waist
  • Lift up to 20 lbs
  • Carry up to 40 lbs a reasonable distance
  • Push/pull with 30 lbs of force
