Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Finance Systems Manager to join our team at Insperity. This is a critical role that requires a strong understanding of financial management systems and the ability to lead and coordinate the implementation of new technologies.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with the Finance and Innovative Technology Solutions (ITS) teams to ensure the Finance department's technology needs are defined and met.
  • Define and communicate technical support and project needs, technical standards and procedures for the Finance department's operational systems.
  • Proactively assist in defining direction for future projects and lead and/or coordinate ownership with business users of Finance technology software.
  • Work with Finance management and team members to understand technology needs and design effective solutions.
  • Act as a liaison between ITS and Finance, maintaining efficient channels of communication between personnel and establishing maintenance and implementation processes.
  • Ensure accurate deliverables, new functionality and reports are delivered to the Finance department through self-testing and user acceptance testing.
  • Develop project plans including vision, scope, timelines, requirements, development, deployment, testing, maintenance and updates/upgrades.
  • Design and implement data delivery solutions to support Finance reporting and analytics needs.
  • Research and locate necessary tools and processes to identify technology-related issues and develop a long-range plan to anticipate and resolve issues.
  • Participate in various projects intended to continually improve/upgrade the department's technology effectiveness.
Requirements
  • A Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance or Information Systems is required.
  • Five or more years of progressive experience in administration of financial management systems is required.
  • Lawson Financial management/administration experience is required.
  • Prior managerial and system implementation experience are preferred.
