Annual Salary: $65,000

Key Responsibilities: In this position, you will undertake foundational engineering assignments, which include analysis, design, planning, evaluation, and inspection of projects of moderate complexity. You will also participate in an extensive training program aimed at enhancing your skills in various operational and organizational functions within the Department. This role requires the application of engineering principles, concepts, and methodologies to a diverse array of engineering tasks across multiple environments.

Essential Qualifications

State Entry Requirements:

Must possess a Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or Civil Engineering Technology.

Agency Specific Entry Requirements:

Hold a Bachelor's degree in civil engineering or civil engineering technology. An official college transcript will be necessary upon selection. Degrees obtained from foreign institutions must be evaluated for equivalency by NCEES, along with an official transcript.Exhibit outstanding communication abilities and engage with colleagues in a professional and courteous manner.Demonstrate strong analytical skills and the capacity to make informed decisions.Employ innovative approaches to solve challenges.Ability to conduct research, gather, and systematically organize information.Uphold high ethical standards and understand the implications of violating these standards on the organization and individuals.Proficient in Microsoft Office applications at a functional level.Dedication to providing excellent customer service.

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience in a transportation or civil engineering-related setting is advantageous.
