Job Summary

The Jewish Community Center is seeking a highly skilled Guest Services Associate to provide exceptional customer service to our members and guests. As the primary point of contact, you will be responsible for ensuring a welcoming and friendly experience for all who visit our facility.

Key Responsibilities
  • Customer Service: Provide superior customer service to members and guests, responding to inquiries and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner.
  • Membership Management: Maintain accurate records of membership changes, cancellations, and sales, as well as track guest passes and prospective member interactions.
  • Switchboard Operations: Serve as the main switchboard operator for the JCC and all Federation agencies, maintaining a friendly demeanor and awareness of all activities on campus.
  • Tour and Sales: Provide informative tours to inquiring community members and close sales of prospective members.
  • Communication: Engage in regular communication with members, responding to their needs and concerns in a friendly and outgoing manner.
  • Facility Monitoring: Assist with monitoring the JCC Spas, including desk coverage, water testing, and amenity refills.
  • Access Control: Monitor access to the imaginarium on nights and weekends.
  • Appointment Scheduling: Welcome and assist members and visitors with appointments throughout the facility, directing them as needed.
  • Software Proficiency: Learn and become fluent with our Guest Services software, Daxko Operations and Daxko Engage.
  • LIVE Chat Support: Assist guests and members with information from our website link.
  • Administrative Tasks: Assist with specialty sales events and open houses, as well as report unclean conditions, safety hazards, and malfunctioning equipment to management.
  • Agency Promotion: Assist in the promotion of agency-wide programs to ensure the productive, effective, and efficient operation of the Agency.
  • Knowledge Sharing: Consistently review all happenings of the JCC to share important information with our membership.
Qualifications
  • Friendly and Outgoing Personality: Possess a friendly and outgoing personality, with excellent communication skills.
  • Customer Service Skills: Proven customer service skills, with the ability to work well with others toward a common goal.
  • Certifications: First Aid and CPR/AED certifications preferred.
  • Computer Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Word, Excel, and Teams, as well as ability to work in multiple computer programs, including Daxko and GroupEx Pro.
