Job Summary

We are seeking a talented Insurance Customer Service Representative to join our team. As a key member of our customer service team, you will be responsible for establishing and developing customer relationships, providing prompt and accurate service, and responding to inquiries regarding insurance availability, eligibility, coverage, and policy changes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Establish and develop customer relationships and follow up with customers in a timely manner
  • Market and quote new business submissions provided by our agents
  • Provide prompt, accurate, and friendly service to customers
  • Respond to inquiries regarding insurance availability, eligibility, coverage, and policy changes
  • Become familiar with products, services, and systems and participate in training provided by the agency
  • Contribute to individual goals and agency success through cross-selling and new initiatives

Requirements

  • Property and Casualty insurance license required
  • Bilingual in English and Spanish (a huge plus, but not required)
  • Pass background check (some exceptions determined by the DOI)
  • Customer service experience (preferred)
  • Strong verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills
  • Good operational computing skills/typing 50+ WPM (Microsoft Office Suites, Internet Browsers)
  • Confident self-starter who works well independently
  • Strong problem-solving capabilities
  • Ability to multi-task
