Job Summary:

The Quality Control Manager will be responsible for ensuring that all materials, workmanship, and repairs are in full compliance with the contract, plans, and specifications. This includes reviewing and approving all submittals, performing daily inspections of the work, and preparing reports.

Responsibilities:
  • Ensure compliance with contract, plans, and specifications
  • Review and approve submittals
  • Perform daily inspections of the work
  • Prepare reports
  • Monitor daily progress of projects
  • Review and enforce company quality control plan
  • Assist with creating project-specific quality control plans
  • Collect and submit necessary submittals
  • Assure safety requirements are strictly adhered to
  • Perform risk management and quality control to minimize project risks
  • Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation
  • Attend and facilitate required meetings and progress updates
  • Provide onsite project oversight and leadership of quality control
  • Interact with management to document and monitor changes in construction procedures
Qualifications:
  • Professional Engineer (PE) with a minimum of 2 years of experience in related work or non-PE with a minimum of 5 years of experience
  • Computer literacy and proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook)
  • Excellent communication and time-management skills
  • Strong organization skills
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Maintaining good attendance and actively participating with a positive attitude
  • Valid Driver's license with a good driving record
Work Environment:

This position requires on-site work at all times during construction. The successful candidate will be required to pass a pre-employment drug screening and have acceptable background check results.
