Position Overview:
As a seasoned Technical Sales Manager, you will play a pivotal role in driving the expansion of our integrated circuit solutions business.

Chelsea Search Group seeks candidates with robust technical expertise in Design Automation, FPGA, or ASIC Design to engage with our Mil-Aero and Industrial clientele.


Your responsibilities will encompass assessing customer needs, estimating efforts and costs for prospective business opportunities, and participating in the enhancement of internal design methodologies.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Identify and pursue new clients who could benefit from our products or services, maximizing client potential in assigned territories.
  • Cultivate long-term relationships with clients by understanding and interpreting their requirements.
  • Convince clients that our products or services best meet their needs regarding quality, pricing, and delivery timelines.
  • Create technical and cost proposals tailored to client specifications.
  • Provide pre-sales technical support and product education to clients.
  • Achieve regular sales targets and manage sales projects effectively.
  • Support marketing initiatives by participating in trade shows, conferences, and other promotional events.
  • Deliver technical presentations and demonstrate how our products fulfill client needs.
  • Collaborate with other sales team members and technical experts to enhance service delivery.
  • Oversee presales technical engagements to ensure client satisfaction.
  • Facilitate business closure by offering technical sales support throughout various sales cycle stages.
  • Anticipate travel requirements of up to 30% to engage with customers and comprehend their high-level requirements for solution design.
  • Understand technical requirements and forecast realistic customer needs.
  • Assist in developing business cases for new initiatives.
  • Contribute to the overall architecture of ASIC solutions.
  • Provide support to IC Design, Test, and Product teams during development phases.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering; a Master's degree is preferred.
  • Over 5 years of experience in the Semiconductor industry.
  • More than 3 years of experience in Design Automation, FPGA, or ASIC Design.
  • Experience with Mil-Aero and/or Industrial customers is advantageous.
  • Proven ability to document technical requirements effectively.
  • Familiarity with systems involving linear and switching voltage regulators, power switches, digital drivers, amplifiers, ADCs, SPI, CAN, microprocessors, and thermal and EMC considerations.
  • Solid understanding of analog, digital, and mixed-signal design principles.
  • Strong technical documentation and verbal communication skills are essential.
  • Excellent organizational skills, proficient English communication abilities, and strong interpersonal skills are required.
  • Must be a self-driven team player capable of thriving in a customer-focused, fast-paced environment with minimal supervision.
