Life Enrichment Assistant

Part Time: Weekdays; Every other weekend required
$15/hour
The Life Enrichment Assistant plays a vital role in enhancing the lives of our residents by planning and executing engaging activities that cater to their social, emotional, and cognitive needs.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with the Life Enrichment Coordinator/Director to develop and implement activity programs that promote resident engagement and well-being.
- Assist with planning and executing regularly scheduled activities, including life skills training and social events.
- Maintain a safe and organized environment for activities, ensuring compliance with community policies and procedures.
- Provide exceptional customer service, responding to resident needs and concerns in a timely and professional manner.
- Coordinate resident outings and transportation, ensuring a smooth and enjoyable experience for all participants.
- Develop and maintain relationships with residents, their families, and external partners to promote a positive and supportive community culture.
Requirements
- Compassionate and empathetic towards the senior population.
- One to three years of related experience and/or training preferred.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse groups.
- Proficient in general computer skills and ability to learn new software applications.
Working Conditions
This position requires standing for long periods, frequent walking, and the ability to lift up to 25 pounds. The work environment is moderate, with occasional travel to other locations required.
