Job Overview
We are seeking an experienced Clinical Neuroscience Center Registered Nurse (CPRN) to join our team at the University of New Mexico - Hospitals. As a CPRN, you will play a vital role in providing safe, direct patient care and leading our team in the ambulatory setting.
About the Role
This is a full-time position with a salary range of $93,000 - $123,000 per year, depending on experience. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership and communication skills, as well as the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
- Deliver direct patient care using the nursing process
- Lead and mentor staff members to ensure high-quality patient care
- Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement care plans
- Assist with procedures and treatments as needed
- Monitor and maintain accurate medical records
- Participate in education and training programs to stay up-to-date on best practices
Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you must have:
- A current RN license in the state of New Mexico
- At least 3 years of experience as a registered nurse in an ambulatory care setting
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- The ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
