Job Summary

The Customer Service Representative - Service Driver is responsible for assisting the Service and Sales sides of the business, ensuring optimum on-site vehicle placement and presentation of interiors and exteriors of vehicles. This role also involves assisting with transportation of service vehicles by driving to customers' homes or workplaces to retrieve customer vehicles and leave them a loaner vehicle.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Keeps the lot neat and orderly, moving cars as directed by the general manager and in accordance with dealership display standards.
  • Inspects vehicles for cleanliness, damage, and compliance with standards or regulations.
  • Drives offsite to retrieve customer vehicles and deliver loaner vehicles.
  • Gets required signatures and completes a walk-around inspection for damage to customer vehicles.
  • Returns customer vehicles and completes a walk-around inspection for damage to returned loaner vehicles.
  • Utilizes various cleaning tools and supplies to preserve and protect vehicles.

Requirements:
  • Friendly and outgoing.
  • Good judgment and safe driving skills.
  • Experience in buffing, waxing, clay bar, and vehicle care.
  • Commitment to continuous improvement.
  • Experience maintaining high customer satisfaction.
  • Creative problem-solver with strong attention to detail.
  • Self-motivated and easily takes direction from management.
  • Strong communication skills and work ethic.
  • Comfortable working outside.
  • Must be able to pass a pre-employment screen (background and hair follicle drug test).

Education and Experience:
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • One to two years of relevant experience preferred, but not required.
  • Valid driver's license and clean driving record.

Physical Requirements:
  • Prolonged periods of sitting while driving.
  • Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds.
  • Must be able to stand, bend, and reach.
