POSITION SUMMARY:
The primary responsibility of this role is to ensure a safe environment, provide emotional and social support, and attend to the physical needs and comfort of residents. You will deliver direct care as assigned, in accordance with each resident's care plan and under the guidance of your Supervisor. Additional duties may be assigned by community representatives. Adherence to all health, sanitation, and infection control policies is essential, as well as maintaining established standards of practice set forth by the community's administration and Nursing Policies and Procedures.
Education & Qualifications:
- Current certification as a Nursing Assistant in good standing according to state laws, or meeting the requirements to work as a Nursing Assistant in the state.
- High school diploma or equivalent is required.
- Minimum age of 18 years (if 16 years old, must be currently enrolled in high school).
- Proficient in English with the ability to follow verbal and written instructions.
- Demonstrated ability to execute both verbal and written directions effectively.
- Strong interpersonal skills and attention to detail are essential.
- Ability to collaborate with supervisors, colleagues, and community staff in fulfilling duties.
- Capability to observe proper safety and sanitation techniques.
- Flexibility to work hours as scheduled based on position requirements.
- Must not pose a direct threat to the health and safety of others in the workplace.
Experience:
- Prior experience in long-term care is preferred but not mandatory.
Shift & Wage:
- Available Full-Time and Part-Time Opportunities
- Shifts may vary
- Hourly wage: $18 to $22
- Includes a $3,000 Sign-On Bonus
