Job Summary

The Renewable Energy Technician will be responsible for operating an anaerobic digester, gas conditioning skid, and associated equipment at Vanguard Renewables' facility in Eden, Wisconsin. The successful candidate will have relevant maintenance and operating experience in an industrial or gas processing environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Operate plant equipment, including pumps, blowers, and auxiliary systems, in accordance with manufacturer recommendations and company policy.
  • Monitor gas production, fluid temperatures, pressures, oil levels, gas concentrations, and process flows, and accurately record operational parameters.
  • Perform general mechanical duties, including valve replacement, pipe repairs, and mixer motor replacements.
  • Assist outside contractors with maintenance activities, such as media change-outs and large equipment overhauls.
Requirements:
  • A valid driver's license and ability to operate a motor vehicle.
  • Ability to lift, move, and/or push objects weighing up to 50 pounds.
  • Relevant maintenance and operating experience in an industrial or gas processing environment.
  • Fundamental proficiency in Windows-based applications (Outlook, Word, and Excel).
