Job Overview

We have an exciting opportunity for a Senior Accounts Receivable Manager to join our team in Eden Prairie, MN. This role will lead all aspects of the collection activity of a multi-million-dollar Accounts Receivable portfolio for 36 Emerson businesses based in the US and Canada.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage a team to ensure on-time payment of open A/R, minimize past due A/R, and improve overall DSO performance.
  • Be responsible for goal setting and performance management, interacting with high-level management staff at assigned businesses.
  • Lead regular meetings with staff and assigned businesses on performance-related objectives, raise awareness to management and leadership of issues impacting overall A/R performance.
  • Exercise significant independent judgment and discretion in making decisions that will have a significant impact on internal/external customers.
  • Mentor and aid your team in their professional development, conduct periodic site visits to review performance with business leadership.
  • Participate in and be responsible for monthly and quarterly reporting requirements used by management and executive leadership.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in business or related field.
  • Four years of Accounts Receivable related experience.
  • Two years of supervisory experience.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Periodic travel may be required at the discretion of Manager.
  • Legal authorization to work in the United States - Sponsorship for this role will not be provided.

  • Strong organizational skills.
  • Highly self-motivated with ability to work independently and/or in teams effectively.
  • Self-starter who has attention to detail and ability to multitask projects.

Salary

The estimated annual salary for this role is $105,000 - $125,000, depending on experience and qualifications.
