CSEngineering is seeking a Logistics Support Manager to join our expanding team. This role will focus on supporting the Enterprise Logistics Flight Plan, which includes preparing and participating in group presentations with senior leadership and various command representatives.

CLIENT INSIGHT

Our client, AFGSC (Air Force Global Strike Command), is dedicated to organizing, training, and equipping global nuclear and conventional strike forces. This includes oversight of Intercontinental Ballistic Missiles (ICBM) and various bomber forces. The transition of forces from different Air Force Major Commands (MAJCOM) has highlighted the ongoing need for comprehensive documentation, training materials, and IT architecture to enhance AFGSC's operational capabilities.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

The following outlines the essential functions of this position:

  • Assist in directorate and command operations to align with the Air Force Enterprise Logistics Governance (ELG) and contribute to the Enterprise Logistics Flight Plan, including the preparation of presentations for high-level meetings.
  • Act as the primary Action Officer and Air Force point of contact for the Logistics Ability to Survive and Operate (LATSO) initiative, collaborating with all MAJCOMs and HAF staff to formulate guidance and operational procedures.
  • Organize and coordinate inputs for the AFGSC Global Strike Health and Operations Board, ensuring alignment with various command initiatives.
  • Lead briefings with leadership and action officers to discuss and establish strategies for implementing key initiatives.
  • Draft and disseminate guidance on behalf of leadership to communicate strategic priorities.
  • Support the development of headquarters directives and provide documentation for the A4 Directorate.
  • Prepare comprehensive briefings, reports, and memorandums to support the A4 Directorate's objectives.
  • Assist in the formulation of policy and guidance for AFGSC response plans and instructions.
  • Provide additional technical and programmatic support as required by AFGSC/A4.

QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED

Security Clearance: Secret

  • A minimum of five (5) years of experience in aircraft or ICBM Logistics, Maintenance, or Sustainment.
  • Possession of a DoD Secret clearance based on a SSBI completed within the last five years.
  • Must be a United States Citizen.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Over 15 years of experience in aircraft or ICBM Logistics, Maintenance, or Sustainment.
  • Experience at the Air Force Headquarters or NAF level.
