Radiologic Technologist I

As a Radiologic Technologist I at Northshore, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality patient care by performing radiographic examinations and assisting in various medical procedures. This position requires excellent interpersonal and communication skills, as well as the ability to work independently and operate medical equipment with minimal assistance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform radiographic examinations for use by physicians in diagnosing and treating patient illness and/or injury.
- Be cross-trained in phlebotomy and medical assisting, assisting in MA responsibilities up to 70% of the time.
- Operate medical equipment with minimal assistance to perform procedures.
- Assist in printing films and retrieval of reports, training of new technologist personnel and students, and transporting patients as needed.
- Review radiographs to ensure optimum quality and report environmental/equipment problems to appropriate resource personnel.
