Interventional Radiology Technologist

Job Summary:
Virtua, Inc. is seeking a skilled Interventional Radiology Technologist to join our team. As a key member of our Interventional Radiology department, you will be responsible for coordinating daily activities and performing diagnostic radiographic procedures in accordance with approved technique and ALARA Limits.
Key Responsibilities:
- Under the direction of a Radiologist, perform all Interventional Radiology procedures on all patient populations.
- Prepare and maintain a sterile environment, provide instruction to patients, and utilize aseptic techniques.
- Practice established principles of radiation safety and protection.
- Consistently provide thorough and accurate documentation.
- Provide instruction to and assist in training new staff or student radiologic technologists.
- Ensure accurate inventory supply par levels for all Interventional products utilized.
Requirements:
- Minimum of one year of experience as an Interventional Radiologic Technologist preferred.
- Graduate of an AMA-approved school of Radiologic Technology.
- Registered or registry eligible by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologist (A.R.R.T.) and licensed by the State of New Jersey DEP.
- CPR certification required.
