Job Summary

At Chi, we are seeking a skilled Diagnostic Imaging Technologist to join our team. As a key member of our diagnostic imaging department, you will be responsible for performing computed tomography, MR, and mammography scans, as well as maintaining patient records and files.

Responsibilities

  • Obtain patient history and explain routine procedures to patients.
  • Perform procedures to ensure quality patient care in accordance with Radiologist's expectations and protocols.
  • Display knowledge and comply with the National Patient Safety goals.
  • Support and report any identified compliance matters.
  • Participate in hospital and department quality assurance programs to ensure safety and satisfaction.
  • Maintain professional development and education for technical competency.
  • Use standard precautions and PPE at all times.
  • Maintain regulatory compliance and licensure for current position.
  • Attend all required educational programs and utilize resources efficiently.
  • Demonstrate complete working knowledge of equipment within assigned area.
  • Knowledge and performance of the Code of Conduct Standards.


Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications

Required Education and Experience

Graduate of an accredited school of Radiologic Technology

Required Licensure and Certifications

Possess and maintain certification by the American Registry of Radiologic technologist (ARRT) in 2 Pathways not including Radiography (R).

State of Kentucky License required.

BLS upon hire
