Job Title: Tufting Maintenance Tech

Company: Engineered Floors

The Tufting Maintenance Tech plays a crucial role in maintaining and repairing all tufting machinery and apparatus within the department.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Diagnose and fix issues with tufting machines and related equipment.
  • Ensure proper style configurations in tufting machinery.
  • Support machine operators with setup and maintenance tasks.
  • Replace blades and loopers as required.
  • Reconstruct and refurbish machines when necessary.
  • Produce high-quality carpet products and communicate any concerns to the supervisor.

Performance Standards:

  • Ability to lift machine components and tools, maintain standing positions for extended durations, and perform various physical activities throughout the shift.
  • Operate lift trucks, utilize tools consistently, and access machines from various positions as needed.
  • Occasionally engage in climbing, balancing, and kneeling activities.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
  • Basic skills in reading, writing, mathematics, and computer usage are necessary.

Additional Information:

  • Willingness to work overtime as required.
  • Immediate reporting of all accidents is mandatory.
  • Compliance with safety protocols and prompt reporting of any issues is essential.
  • Accountability for personal quality and safety standards is expected.
