Facility Maintenance Specialist

Job Summary
The Facility Technician is responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of manufacturing equipment by performing preventive maintenance tasks. This role requires a strong understanding of mechanical systems and the ability to troubleshoot and repair complex equipment.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct regular maintenance checks on equipment to identify potential issues and prevent downtime
- Perform repairs and replacements of equipment parts as needed
- Apply adhesives, lubricants, and other materials to machines and their parts according to procedures
- Disassemble and reassemble machines and their parts for maintenance and repair
- Ensure cleanliness of machines and their components using various appliances
- Examine and repair broken machine parts, identifying defective parts and recommending repair requirements to supervisors
- Replace, fix, or realign machine parts and accessories according to production specifications
- Adhere to company policies and procedures, including safety protocols
- Perform other duties and special projects as assigned by management
Requirements
- At least 1 year of experience in handling machines and machine parts
- Knowledge of mechanical maintenance and electrical processes
- Critical thinking ability to troubleshoot and detect malfunctioning equipment
- Discipline to execute tasks without procrastination
- Excellent time management skills to execute orders and demands in a timely manner
- Ability to handle basic tools
- Strong knowledge of safety precautions and ability to illustrate general maintenance procedures
- Able to tolerate a fast-paced work environment in areas that are not climate controlled
