Role Responsibilities:
The Control Systems Engineer will collaborate with a team of professionals dedicated to the upkeep of industrial control systems (ICS). Key responsibilities include:
- Ensuring the operational functionality of process and security-related control systems.
- Conducting detailed fault analyses and system evaluations.
- Drafting and maintaining operating procedures and service schedules.
- Providing technical guidance and performing reviews of work packages.
- Leading projects by establishing tasks, priorities, and schedules.
- Developing test criteria and conducting functional assessments of control systems.
- Identifying and procuring necessary components and systems.
- Offering mentorship to junior team members.
Qualifications:
To be considered for this position, candidates should possess:
- A Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in a relevant engineering discipline.
- 7-10 years of direct experience with industrial control systems, including software quality assurance.
Preferred Skills:
Ideal candidates will have:
- Experience with nuclear applications, particularly in instrumentation and controls.
- Knowledge of industry standards and trends.
- Familiarity with various control system platforms and software development.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
