Position: Senior Technical Consultant, Platform Engineering
As a technical thought leader and subject matter expert, you will engage with our network of partners, clients, and service providers in the domain of Modern Applications and Platform Engineering. The Senior Technical Consultant will lead engagements, designing, developing, and implementing sophisticated solutions. You will mentor and guide engineers on various projects and contribute to broader organizational initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:- Design and implement intricate enterprise-level technical solutions for clients.
- Engage in hands-on coding of API and CI/CD components.
- Produce high-quality deliverables and presentations for client engineering teams and executive leadership.
- Develop and present innovative solution concepts to senior leadership.
- Act as a strategic liaison, effectively aligning technical solutions with business objectives.
- Establish project estimates and plans, identify risks and mitigation strategies, and oversee the development and delivery of technical solutions.
- Mentor and support project team members.
- Lead collaboration efforts within our technical communities.
- Proven ability to engage with clients and collaboratively develop solutions to business and technology challenges.
- In-depth knowledge of modern cloud-native application design principles, DevSecOps, Infrastructure as Code (IaC), CI/CD Pipelines, Microservices, and Containers.
- Hands-on programming experience in Java, Python, or other relevant languages.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, along with strong interpersonal abilities.
- 6+ years of IT experience, including 3+ years in Cloud, DevOps, Automation, Application Modernization, and Digital Transformation.
- Experience in designing and implementing core platform services related to Compute, Storage, Networking, Databases, Containers, Security, and Identity.
- Possession of multiple certifications such as AWS Solutions Architect Pro, AWS DevOps Engineer Pro, Microsoft Azure Solutions Architect Expert, Azure DevOps Engineer Expert, Terraform Associate, etc.
- Familiarity with organizational adoption of transformational initiatives including Platform Engineering, DevOps, DevSecOps, Cloud Transformation, and Application Modernization.
- Hands-on experience with IaC tools such as Terraform, Ansible, ARM, and CloudFormation.
- Experience in managing deployment services like Harness, GitHub, Ansible, Jenkins, etc., with knowledge of branching strategies.
- Familiarity with Windows Server and Linux virtualized operating system environments.
Compensation: $170,000 - $200,000 per year. This range reflects the On-Target Earnings (OTE) for this role, which includes a base salary and any applicable target bonus. Compensation may vary based on relevant experience, qualifications, and geographic location.
