About the Position

This position is located at the Peterson Bowling Alley on Peterson Space Force Base. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, managing the bowling center's operations, and ensuring a positive experience for patrons.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manning the customer service desk and responding to customer inquiries
  • Assigning lanes, operating the control console, and renting bowling shoes
  • Conducting inventories of pro shop items and other supplies
  • Demonstrating and instructing participants on proper bowling techniques
  • Informing supervisors of equipment malfunctions and other maintenance needs
  • Supervising, leading, and overseeing the daily activities of other employees
  • Assisting in advertising and recruiting participants for leagues, tournaments, and special events
  • Scheduling and administering these activities as a league secretary or tournament director
  • Ensuring activities are properly scheduled, facilities are set up, and rules and regulations are observed
  • Opening and closing the bowling facility as required
Requirements
  • Must be able to frequently lift and carry objects weighing up to 40 pounds
  • May require shift work to provide coverage on evenings, weekends, holidays, or special situations
  • Must be registered for Selective Service
  • Direct deposit is required
  • Must satisfactorily complete an employment verification (E-Verify) check
  • May be required to complete a background investigation with favorable results
