Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Custodial Services Assistant to join our team at Yavapai County, AZ. As a Custodial Services Assistant, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and organization of our facilities, ensuring a safe and healthy environment for our employees and visitors.
Key Responsibilities:
- Clean and maintain County facilities, including dusting, mopping, scrubbing, polishing, carpet spotting, and cleaning restrooms, entries, walkways, and glass using appropriate cleaning solutions.
- Perform equipment care, including cleaning and changing belts and bags.
- Identify and report repair needs and maintain inventory of cleaning supplies for assigned buildings.
- Perform other job-related duties as assigned.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- No experience required.
- Must possess a valid Arizona driver's license.
Working Environment:
The work environment is associated with various indoor and outdoor locations, in all weather conditions, and includes exposure to loud noise, blood-borne pathogens, dust, fumes, mist, and chemicals.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to bend or stoop repeatedly or continually over time.
- Move, lift, push, pull a variety of heavy objects.
- Mix and work with cleaning fluids, chemicals, or similar solutions using normal protective equipment.
- Remain in a standing position for extended periods of time.
