Senior Analyst of Credit Risk Management

Position Overview
This role is under the supervision of the Credit Risk Analytics Manager. The selected candidate will be tasked with preparing the Bank's Allowance for Credit Losses in accordance with the Current Expected Credit Loss standard, conducting the Bank's Commercial Real Estate Stress Test, generating various credit analytics and reports, and aiding in Credit Risk Department projects and initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
- Execute monthly CECL calculations and generate necessary analyses and reports
- Conduct periodic and ad hoc Commercial Real Estate Stress Tests
- Evaluate methodologies and provide analytical assistance for Moody's scorecards
- Support the Bank's Capital Stress Test Program
- Identify and implement process enhancements through technology
- Assist in defining and developing stress tests for commercial portfolios
- Perform additional duties as assigned

Required Skills and Qualifications

- Familiarity with Abrigo, Trepp, and Moody's platforms is preferred
- Understanding of banking regulations and oversight is advantageous
- Knowledge of programming languages such as Python is a plus
- Advanced proficiency in Excel is required
Educational Background
- Advanced degree in finance and/or statistics is preferred
Professional Experience
- A minimum of 3 years of experience in Commercial Real Estate and/or Commercial & Industrial underwriting is required
- At least 2 years of experience with credit risk models and allowance reserve models is preferred
- Experience in banking with a focus on credit risk and portfolio risk management
