About the Job

We are seeking a skilled Diesel Technician/Mechanic II to join our team at Penske Truck Leasing. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for performing preventative maintenance and repairs on our fleet of vehicles.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks, including oil changes, tire rotations, and brake pad replacements.
  • Diagnose and repair complex issues with engines, transmissions, and other vehicle systems.
  • Work independently and as part of a team to ensure timely completion of repairs and maintenance tasks.
  • Collaborate with other technicians and supervisors to share knowledge and best practices.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest technology and techniques through ongoing training and education.
Requirements
  • 3+ years of experience in diesel engine repair and maintenance.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; vocational or technical certification preferred.
  • ASE certification and 608/609 certifications a plus.
  • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively.
