Valen USA, a leading manufacturer of custom cabinet doors and drawer boxes, is based in Lexington, North Carolina. With over 35 years of expertise, we provide high-quality wooden drawer boxes and decorative 5-piece doors to customers across North America. Our products cater to the cabinet, office furniture, closet systems, hospitality, healthcare, and store fixture industries.
We are currently seeking a seasoned Production Management Lead with exceptional leadership skills and a focus on quality-driven production. If you have experience in managing production teams and leading to meet or exceed productivity goals and quality expectations, we encourage you to apply.
As a successful candidate, you will excel at managing production lines and leading a team to achieve productivity goals and quality expectations. Strong process improvement and problem-solving skills are essential, along with an understanding of lean manufacturing and production flow. General woodworking or cabinet making experience is highly valued.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Oversee the day-to-day operations of production and employees, ensuring a smooth workflow.
- Handle issues in a timely and professional manner to provide the best possible solutions.
- Maintain a safe work environment through regular training, coaching, and discipline.
- Lead, mentor, and manage production workers on new operations and techniques, promoting a culture of trust and integrity.
- Track productivity and ensure schedule and quality expectations are met.
Skills and Qualifications:
- Minimum 3 years of experience as a production supervisor.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
- Strong knowledge of safety, quality, productivity, and manufacturing processes.
- Understanding of implementing quality-focused manufacturing principles.
- Strong team-building, decision-making, and people management skills.
Benefits and Compensation:
Valen USA offers a competitive compensation package, including an estimated hourly salary of $20.40, commensurate with experience, with regular overtime available.
