Lithium-Ion Battery Testing Specialist

The Battery Test Engineer will serve as the primary liaison, delivering exceptional service to our clientele. Responsibilities encompass expertise in lithium-ion battery technology, as well as conducting safety, performance, and durability assessments for battery cells, packs, and systems, alongside managing client relations and project oversight. We seek a meticulous professional with a background in testing, preferably within the Electrochemical Storage System sector, who is eager to contribute meaningfully to our organization.
Key Responsibilities:
- Proficient in computer programming.
- Capable of setting up, programming, and troubleshooting automated battery testing apparatus.
- Familiarity with AVL, ROS, and Bitrode VlsuaLCN is advantageous.
- Experience with supplementary testing equipment, chambers, and bench tests; knowledge of LabView is a plus.
- Manage and execute projects for key clients.
- Assist laboratory management in identifying operational needs.
- Explore innovative strategies for customer applications and testing methodologies.
- Ensure client satisfaction with a focus on quality and timelines.
- Provide comprehensive documentation and maintain communication with key clients.
- Adhere to the Quality Management System, particularly in-house calibration per ISO 17025 standards.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in the development and testing of Electrochemical Storage Systems.
- Familiarity with lithium-ion battery technology and testing protocols for cells, packs, and systems.
