Key Responsibilities:

  • Establish and configure battery packs on high-voltage testing setups, creating and implementing testing protocols to achieve project objectives while addressing system-level challenges and conducting troubleshooting/data analysis in collaboration with relevant stakeholders.
  • The engineer will collaborate closely with a multidisciplinary team to facilitate program development and verification milestones, ensuring successful product launches.
  • Organize meetings and meticulously coordinate testing strategies with a focus on efficiency and effectiveness to manage time constraints.
  • Provide updates on validation progress at vehicle checkpoints, raising any necessary support requests.

Essential Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Civil Engineering - 1 to 3 years of relevant experience.
  • Familiarity with Energy Storage Systems and Vehicle Electrification concepts.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with knowledge of electrification architectures such as Electric Vehicles (EV), Hybrid Electric Vehicles (HEV), Plug-in Hybrid Electric Vehicles (PHEV), and Belt Starter Generator (BSG) systems.
  • Self-driven and highly motivated individual.
  • Basic understanding of Design Verification Plan and Report (DVP&R) and Design Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (DFMEA).
  • Proven capability to work effectively within a team environment.

Desirable Qualifications:

  • Master's degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
  • Three years of experience in vehicle electrification engineering.
  • In-depth knowledge of automotive battery design and testing methodologies.
  • Experience in electrification integration or system validation processes.
  • Proficiency in CAN communication protocols, VECTOR tools, Canalyzer/Canoe, and ETAS INCA.
  • Background in propulsion component dynamometer testing and automation.

Experience in Change Control and Issue Management Tracking is advantageous.
