Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Respiratory Therapy CRT to join our team at Texas Orthopedic Hospital. As a Respiratory Therapy CRT, you will be responsible for providing high-quality respiratory care to patients of all ages, including incentive breathing devices, aerosol therapy, chest physiotherapy, oxygen therapy, and suctioning.

Responsibilities
  • Perform general respiratory therapy to all ages in accordance with age-specific criteria.
  • Evaluate diagnostic studies, including bedside spirometry, pulmonary mechanics, and blood gas analysis.
  • Demonstrate teamwork, adaptability, and serve as a resource to the patient care team.
  • Accountability for delivering quality respiratory services and promoting a positive image of the department.
Requirements
  • Graduate of an AMA-approved Respiratory Therapy program required.
  • Credentialed as a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) in the state of Texas is required.
  • 1 year of experience in a hospital setting is preferred.
  • Current BLS Certification is required.
  • ACLS, PALS, and NRP are preferred.
