Regional Property Manager

At Jobot, we're seeking a highly skilled Regional Property Supervisor to oversee our Permanent Supportive Housing (PSH) and Affordable Housing (LIHTC/Section 8) portfolio in the Los Angeles area. As a key member of our team, you'll be responsible for supervising a team of on-site property managers, ensuring the successful operation of our properties, and driving business growth.
Key Responsibilities:- Multi-Family Portfolio Management: Oversee the operations of approximately 10-15 properties, with a focus on PSH and Affordable Housing.
- Team Leadership: Manage and mentor a team of on-site property managers, providing guidance, support, and performance evaluations to ensure excellence.
- Compliance: Oversee regulatory and compliance activities with HUD and other relevant agencies.
- Budget & Financial Oversight: Develop and manage budgets for properties, analyze financial reports, and implement strategies to achieve financial objectives and enhance profitability.
- Lease-Up Experience: Apply your knowledge of lease-up processes to effectively manage and oversee new construction properties, ensuring successful lease-up and occupancy rates.
- Field Presence: Maintain a strong field presence by regularly visiting properties, addressing issues on-site, and building relationships with tenants and staff.
- 5+ years of Regional/Multi-Site Property Management experience (multi-family | PSH | affordable housing).
- 3+ years of experience overseeing a PSH/Affordable Housing portfolio.
- Yardi Expertise: Proven experience using Yardi software for property management and financial tracking.
- Budget Management: Demonstrated experience in managing budgets and financials for residential properties.
- Team Management: Strong background in overseeing and managing a team of property managers, with a focus on leadership and development.
- Location Flexibility: Ability to work remotely or from various locations in greater Los Angeles, with an initial training period at our Long Beach office.
- Organizational Skills: Excellent organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to juggle multiple responsibilities and prioritize effectively.
- Communication: Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with a focus on building positive relationships with team members and tenants.
