About You

We are seeking a driven and ambitious individual who is passionate about serving others and making a positive impact in their community. As a kitchen helper/dietary aide, you will be responsible for assisting the cook in the preparation and service of meals, ensuring that quality food service is provided at all times.

Responsibilities

As a kitchen helper/dietary aide, your responsibilities will include:

  • Assisting the cook in the preparation and service of meals
  • Placing prepared food on plates/trays following tray tickets
  • Cleaning and sanitizing the kitchen according to health standards
  • Utilizing protective gear in all appropriate functions
  • Reporting equipment/cleaning product needs and malfunctions to supervisor in a timely fashion
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to demonstrate a positive attitude, the ability to follow oral and written instructions, and the ability to perform routine, repetitive tasks daily. A high school diploma or equivalent is preferred, and specialized training in food service is desirable. You must also be able to lift/carry a maximum of 30 pounds, push/pull a maximum of 50 pounds, stand, sit, bend, and walk for extended periods.
