Job Title: Radiologic Technologist

We are seeking a skilled Radiologic Technologist to join our team at Inova Health System. As a Radiologic Technologist, you will play a critical role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our imaging department.

Job Responsibilities:
  • Administer radiation protection and safety protocols to ensure patient and staff safety.
  • Operate radiological equipment, including fluoroscopy, trauma, and operating room equipment, to produce high-quality images.
  • Assist in teaching radiography students and provide guidance to other technologists to ensure optimal department functions.
  • Communicate effectively with patients to obtain clinical history and informed consent.
  • Recognize and respond to clinical and emergent problems that may interfere with exams.
Requirements:
  • Graduate of an accredited radiology school or program.
  • One year of combined classroom and clinical training in radiology.
  • Recent experience in a hospital/healthcare environment as a Radiologic Technologist or student.
  • Basic Life Support certification.
  • American Registered Radiologic Technologists within 12 months of hire.
