Job DescriptionJob Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Certified Quality Engineer to join our team at Pro QC International North America. The successful candidate will be responsible for inspecting the transformer repair process at Neeltran Inc. and reporting inspection results and status.

Responsibilities:
  • Inspect transformer repair process at Neeltran Inc.
  • Report inspection results and status
  • Confirm and report any findings and their solutions
  • Submit daily and weekly reports using Microsoft Word or Excel
Requirements:
  • 5+ years' experience as a Certified Quality Engineer
  • Electrical or Mechanical Engineering Degree
  • In-depth knowledge of transformer components and repair techniques
  • Familiarity with IEEE C57.12 and IEC 60076 standards
Certifications:
  • Certified Quality Engineer (CQE) by ASQ or equivalent
  • Certified Reliability Engineer (CRE) by ASQ
  • Certified Electrical Inspector (CEI) by IAEI or similar
  • OSHA Safety Certification (OSHA 30-hour General Industry or similar)
Skills & Experience:
  • Experience in electrical engineering, particularly in transformer inspection and repair
  • Previous experience working with heavy industries in quality control/inspection capacity
  • Compliance with professional ProQC and manufacturing site guidelines and safety requirements
  • Good communication skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office
Work Environment:

Work will be performed in person at our location in New Milford, Connecticut 06776, USA. The contractor will work on a part-time basis, with a current project duration of 3 weeks, 6-8 hours per day.

Additional Information:

As a contractor, you will have the opportunity to work on another project in New Milford, Connecticut (or nearby areas) as and when offered.
