The Maintenance Technician will be responsible for ensuring all equipment and machinery is in good working condition. This includes performing preventative maintenance, making repairs, and following company policies and processes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform preventative maintenance on machinery and building as needed
  • Understand and follow emergency procedures in the event of equipment failure
  • Repair equipment as needed due to breakdowns
  • Oversee maintenance of the facility and all equipment
  • Work closely with production to ensure timely and high-quality product
  • Proficient in electrical and mechanical work and troubleshooting
  • Design and implement ideas to increase equipment efficacy, safety, and reliability
  • Communicate effectively with all contacts
  • Adapt to change and ensure activities align with Company Mission Statement
  • Operate job-related equipment and meet physical demands of the job

Requirements:

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential function and assigned task satisfactorily. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.

Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required; technical or vocational degree in a related field and bakery experience preferred
  • 1-3 years of related industrial maintenance experience required
  • PLC skills, including troubleshooting and diagnosis of low voltage systems
