Role Overview:
As a Senior Accountant, you will be instrumental in maintaining the financial integrity of our pioneering organization. Key Responsibilities:
1. Oversee daily accounting functions, including general ledger management, balance sheet reconciliation, and income statement analysis.
2. Prepare timely and accurate financial statements in collaboration with the accounting team.
3. Conduct regular ledger activities, including bank statement reconciliations and month-end closing processes.
4. Develop and enforce robust internal controls to ensure the accuracy of financial reporting and budgeting.
5. Analyze financial documents for discrepancies and escalate issues to senior management.
6. Review inter-company transactions and generate necessary invoices.
7. Coordinate with external auditors and assist in the annual audit process.

Qualifications:
1. Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline; advanced degrees or CPA certification preferred.
2. At least 5 years of relevant accounting experience, ideally within the finance sector.
3. Proficient in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
4. Strong understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
5. Expertise in general ledger functions, account reconciliation, and financial statement preparation.
6. Proven ability to implement and maintain effective internal controls.
7. Excellent analytical skills with a keen attention to detail.
8. Strong verbal and written communication abilities.
9. Capacity to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and meet deadlines.
10. High standards of integrity, accuracy, and confidentiality.
