Role Summary:

The Sr. Director, Quality Strategy will lead the development and implementation of quality strategies in managing fully at-risk Medicare contracts. This role requires a strategic thinker who can enhance patient care quality while ensuring compliance with Medicare regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and oversee quality improvement programs to enhance patient outcomes, reduce variations in care, and achieve cost-effectiveness.
  • Participate in strategic planning at the executive level, integrating clinical insights to drive the company's objectives in managing at-risk Medicare contracts.
  • Ensure that all clinical protocols and quality initiatives comply with Medicare guidelines and other relevant healthcare regulations.
  • Direct and mentor a multidisciplinary team, fostering a culture of excellence in clinical practice and quality improvement.
  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, including physicians, healthcare providers, and regulatory bodies, to optimize clinical and quality strategies.
  • Monitor and analyze clinical performance data to identify trends, areas for improvement, and the effectiveness of implemented strategies.
  • Provide clinical education and training to staff and stakeholders on new protocols and quality improvement initiatives.

Requirements:

  • MHA preferred; MBA acceptable
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience improving quality metrics ideally in a Clinically Integrated Network
  • Substantial experience in quality improvement and strategic planning in a healthcare setting
  • Prior experience in managing Medicare contracts is highly desirable
  • In-depth understanding of Medicare regulations, healthcare quality standards, and clinical protocol development
  • Exceptional leadership, strategic thinking, and communication skills. Proficient in data analysis and healthcare informatics
  • Proven track record in leading quality improvement initiatives in a healthcare setting
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities
  • Commitment to evidence-based practice and patient-centered care

Salary and Benefits:

This position offers an estimated annual salary of $150,000-$200,000, depending on qualifications and experience. Additionally, you'll enjoy a comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance, retirement plan, and paid time off.
