As a key member of our Structural Heart and Cardiac Cath Departments, you will be responsible for preparing patients for various procedures, conducting nursing assessments, and assisting physicians with cardiac catheterization and interventional procedures.

Responsibilities:

  • Prepare patients for procedures, including pre- and post-procedure teaching
  • Conduct nursing assessments and identify potential problems
  • Assist physicians with cardiac catheterization and interventional procedures
  • Operate technical instruments for patient monitoring and surgical intervention
  • Calculate and administer pharmaceuticals within scope of practice

Requirements:

  • Registered Nurse in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts
  • CPR and ACLS certifications
  • Critical care or cardiology experience
  • One year of Cardiac Cath Lab and Electrophysiology experience preferred
