Job Summary:

Southcoast Health System is seeking a skilled Cath Lab Technologist to join our team. As a key member of our cardiac catheterization team, you will be responsible for performing diversified clinical patient care, technical, and related duties within the cardiac cath lab or structural heart as part of an interdisciplinary care team.

Responsibilities:

Perform patient assessments and correlate clinical findings with exam/procedure requests.
Obtain pertinent hemodynamic and angiographic information from patient charts and document all data within the hemodynamic system and EHR.
Assist interventional or invasive cardiologists in performing cardiac cath or structural heart procedures.

Requirements:

Successful completion of an accredited program in Radiologic Technology or Cardiovascular Technology and attainment of certification from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists as a Registered Radiologic Technologist in Radiography RT(R) or Cardiovascular Credentialing International as a Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS).
One year's experience as a Scrub Assistant in a cardiac catheterization/EP lab/Structural Heart or IR is required.
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification, and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) is required.

Competitive hourly rate of $65.00

11-13 Week Assignment, with option to extend for 2 additional 13 week assignment if available
