We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Mechanical Engineer to join our team at Jobot. As a Senior Mechanical Engineer, you will be responsible for providing leadership and direction to the mechanical department, focusing on project production management.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with the Principal Engineer and/or Chief Engineer to provide leadership and direction to the mechanical department.
  • Support the Principal Engineer in planning and executing both billable and non-billable mechanical workloads.
  • Manage department-level mechanical engineering tasks, including mechanical design (plumbing/HVAC), project management, and other project-related functions.
  • Foster strong relationships with both existing and new clients.
  • Serve as a leader within the Firm.
  • Mentor and develop staff by working on projects and leading classes or seminars.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering.
  • 10+ years of experience as a mechanical engineer.
  • Professional Engineering license in California or ability to obtain within 6 months of employment.
  • Experience managing a team of engineers and projects.
