Job Summary

This position is responsible for accurately processing student financial transactions and providing related customer service to students and their parents. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of financial operations and be able to work independently with minimal supervision.

Key Responsibilities
  • Process student financial transactions, including posting miscellaneous fees and reviewing accounts for accuracy.
  • Provide exceptional customer service to internal and external customers, including state agencies, financial institutions, and government agencies.
  • Receive and post daily cash receipts and payments, verifying transactions and ensuring accuracy.
  • Prepare cash receipts for bank deposit and reconcile any discrepancies.
  • Investigate and resolve any out-of-balance problems.
  • Develop and maintain detailed documentation for financial processes.
  • Collaborate with other administrative departments to ensure seamless financial operations.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree in a related field, such as accounting or finance.
  • 2 years of experience in accounting, billing/receivable, cashier services, or a related field.
  • Proficient in EIS and Microsoft Office, with experience in Accounts Receivable and Cashier Services.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to communicate complex financial information effectively.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple assignments promptly and meticulously.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience working in higher education.
  • Knowledge of organizational goals and data privacy laws.
Work Schedule

Monday - Friday, 8am - 5pm.
