Job Title: Leasing Professional

FCI Residential, a part of Florida Crystals Corporation's real estate division, is seeking a skilled Leasing Professional to join our team. Our company focuses on multi-family residential development in urban and in-fill areas, with approximately 3,300 units in the development process throughout Florida.

Job Summary

The successful candidate will be responsible for the leasing process from introduction to resident occupancy, maintaining diligent communication throughout the tenancy. They will interact directly with prospective and current residents to achieve maximum occupancy and deliver exceptional customer service.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain first-class customer service relationships with prospects and residents.
  • Ensure the leasing office, tour path, model apartment, vacant apartments, amenities, and general curb appeal of the community are impeccable.
  • Sell the community's features and services to prospects with thorough product knowledge of the property, sister properties, and competitors.
  • Convert phone calls to tours, property tours to leases, and internet leads to tours and/or leases.
  • Ensure guest information is complete and entered in the property management software, and follow up with prospects.
  • Accurately prepare and have thorough knowledge of all lease-related paperwork, including processing applications, preparing move-in information, renewal letters, and renewal leases.
  • Continuously review performance reports weekly, using data to analyze what is needed to lease available and upcoming apartments, and make recommendations to the Property Manager.
  • Manage and resolve resident concerns, including maintenance service requests, and follow up with residents to ensure quality service.
  • Actively engage in marketing and assist with developing and implementing strategies to increase property traffic and internet leads.
  • Plan, organize, and attend resident functions.
  • Create content for social media.
  • Prepare market surveys monthly and have full knowledge of competitors' features in comparison to the community.
  • Assist in placing, removing, or updating banners, balloons, bandit signs, A-frame signs, flags, etc.
  • Provide general clerical assistance, including managing phones, entering maintenance service requests in the property management software, and ordering office supplies.
  • Be responsible for knowledge of management company and community policies and procedures.
  • Complete required training courses, either online or in-person meetings.

  • Be a self-starter who takes initiative and works well independently, is organized, and able to multi-task and pay attention to detail.
  • Have sound technical skills, analytical ability, good judgment, and a strong operational focus.
  • Establish credibility throughout the organization with both management and team members.
  • Be able to organize and prioritize workload.
  • Have the ability to travel for property errands or training classes, with a valid driver's license and automobile insurance coverage at all times.
  • Be flexible to work longer work hours and odd schedules to fulfill job duties, such as resident events.
Essential Education Requirements
  • A High School diploma or general education degree (GED) is required.
  • English is required, with bilingualism a plus.
