Key Responsibilities
  • Financial Statement Preparation: Prepare and review monthly financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements, to ensure accuracy and compliance with accounting standards.
  • General Ledger Management: Oversee the general ledger operations, including account reconciliations, journal entries, and financial analysis, to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting.
  • Financial Reporting: Prepare and review financial reports, including financial statements, management reports, and ad-hoc analyses, to provide insights and recommendations to management.
  • Account Reconciliation: Prepare and review balance sheet account reconciliations to ensure accuracy and completeness.
  • Deferred Revenue Management: Manage deferred revenue related to service agreements, including revenue recognition and accounting for deferred revenue.
  • Expense Reporting: Approve expense reports, including travel expenses, to ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
  • Sales Commissions and Incentives: Assist in calculating monthly sales commissions and incentive accruals.
  • Inventory Management: Oversee the cycle count process and annual physical inventory counts to ensure accuracy and completeness.
  • Fixed Assets Management: Manage fixed assets, including tracking, depreciating, and reporting capital expenditures.
  • Audit and Compliance: Support financial internal audits and assessments to ensure compliance with accounting and company policies.
  • Process Improvement: Continuously evaluate and enhance accounting processes to improve efficiency, accuracy, and reliability of financial intelligence.
Qualifications
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in accounting from a four-year college or university.
  • Experience: 4-7 years of related experience and/or training in accounting and financial reporting.
  • Skills: Deep understanding of general ledger accounting and payroll regulations, highly detail-oriented, professional demeanor, dependable work ethic, and excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Technical Skills: Skilled in Microsoft Office, including advanced Excel capabilities, pivot tables, and VLOOKUP formulas.
