Fire Inspector Part Time

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Fire Inspector to join our team at SAFEbuilt. As a Fire Inspector, you will be responsible for performing field inspections of residential, commercial, and public facility construction projects. You will interact with the public and explain technical information to both technically and non-technically trained individuals.
Key Responsibilities:- Conduct field inspections to ensure compliance with applicable codes and regulations.
- Review residential and commercial plans and engineering calculations for building components.
- Provide recommendations regarding interpretations of City, State, Federal, and Construction standards.
- Maintain accurate records to document inspections, test results, and additional details.
- Enter inspection results into permitting software.
- Ohio Fire Inspector certification.
- Experience with fire code inspections.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Valid driver's license with good driving record.
