Position Summary

This role provides essential support to the Credentialing Coordinator in managing the day-to-day operations and functions of payer enrollment.

Responsibilities

  • Assist with the credentialing process for healthcare providers, ensuring accuracy and completeness of applications.
  • Maintain accurate records of provider credentials and contracts with various payers.
  • Communicate effectively with payers, providers, and internal stakeholders regarding enrollment status and requirements.
  • Track and monitor application submissions, renewals, and any outstanding items.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of process improvements within the credentialing department.

Qualifications

Education: High school diploma or equivalent required.

Skills:

  • Proficiency in English reading, writing, and communication (both verbal and written).
  • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
  • Ability to learn new software programs and operate standard office equipment.
  • Excellent telephone etiquette and ability to convey information accurately.
  • Capacity to work independently with minimal supervision and manage multiple tasks simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.

Experience: Two years of administrative or secretarial experience preferred. Familiarity with Microsoft Word and Excel is beneficial.
