Clinical Nurse Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Registered Nurse to join our team at Northeast Georgia Health System Inc. as a Clinical Nurse Specialist. This is a unique opportunity to leverage your expertise and passion for nursing to make a meaningful impact on patient care and outcomes.
Key Responsibilities- Provide direct and safe patient care based on the nursing process, and coordinate care for assigned patients on a shift to promote the achievement of clinical outcomes.
- Lead interdisciplinary rounds to facilitate appropriateness of care and smooth transitions across the continuum.
- Participate in quality improvement activities, evaluate the quality and effectiveness of nursing practice, and support unit-based activities aimed at improving the patient experience, employee engagement, and/or nurse-sensitive indicators on the unit.
- Collaborate with other care team members to recruit and retain an excellent nursing care team.
- Develop and implement evidence-based practice guidelines and protocols to improve patient outcomes.
- Licensure or other certifications: Licensed to practice as an RN in Georgia.
- Educational Requirements: Associates Degree, ADN or Diploma required.
- Minimum Experience: At least 1 year of RN experience – Demonstrated competence in RN I performance expectations or meets experience requirements upon hire.
- Preferred Job Qualifications: BSN, previous specialty experience, and leadership experience.
