Job Summary
A skilled healthcare provider with prior specialty experience is preferred, focused on broadening expertise and competencies. Consistently delivers effective direct patient care as part of a collaborative team to a diverse range of complex patients. Actively seeks and provides constructive feedback to enhance clinical practices. Takes on an initial clinical leadership role at the bedside and pursues mentorship in this journey. Engages as a member of PNGC councils and Nursing Quality Teams as appropriate. Contributes to Unit Council initiatives aimed at improving NDNQI nursing-sensitive indicators, RN Satisfaction, Employee Engagement, Culture of Safety, and Patient Experience metrics. Collaborates with fellow team members to attract and retain a high-quality nursing staff. For newly graduated clinical RNs: primarily concentrates on developing knowledge and skills while demonstrating growth in the ability to care for increasingly complex patients. Responsible for delivering direct and safe patient care based on the nursing process and coordinating care for assigned patients during a shift to facilitate the achievement of clinical outcomes. Requires consultation with more experienced clinicians and embraces feedback as a valuable tool for professional development.
Minimum Job Qualifications
- Licensure or other certifications: Licensed to practice as an RN in Georgia.
- Educational Requirements: Associate's Degree, ADN or Diploma required.
