Role Overview
As a Physician Relations Specialist, you will play a crucial role in promoting the premier programs, providers, and services of Seattle Children's, aimed at fostering market expansion and retention. Your primary responsibility will be to cultivate strong relationships with referring healthcare providers across the Washington, Alaska, Montana, and Idaho (WAMI) regions, serving as a valuable resource for both the providers and Seattle Children's.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain relationships with referring providers to enhance collaboration and communication.
- Provide essential stakeholders with insights into market trends, opportunities, and service-related issues.
- Engage in problem-solving initiatives on behalf of the organization to address provider concerns.
- Monitor and track encounter activities by referring providers to ensure effective engagement.
Qualifications
Education and Experience:
A Bachelor's degree in marketing, business, or healthcare, or a comparable combination of education and experience in marketing and/or healthcare is required. A minimum of three (3) years of demonstrated experience in sales, customer service, or physician relations is essential, with a preference for candidates with healthcare experience. A valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record is also required.
Preferred Skills:
Experience in customer service management or strategic planning within a healthcare provider organization is highly desirable.
Compensation Information
The salary range for this position is between $84,000 and $126,110.00 annually. This range is based on full-time employment (2080 hours worked per calendar year) and may vary based on factors such as equity, skills, experience, and expertise.
